How To Make Mouthwatering Garlic Mozzarella Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Bread:
    • Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise, creating two long halves.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter:
    • In a bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix until well blended.
  4. Spread the Garlic Butter:
    • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread.
  5. Add Cheese and Seasonings:
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the garlic butter.
    • Follow with the grated Parmesan cheese.
    • Sprinkle the dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the cheese.
  6. Bake the Bread:
    • Place the prepared bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
  7. Serve:
    • Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.
    • Slice the bread into pieces and serve warm.
